Saline
A proper little downtown with a Welsh connection, an old church full of beer, and serious cocoa ambitions.
Saline takes its name from salt springs in the area.
The Church, the Pub, and the Welsh Connection
Visit Salt Springs Brewery to see a church turned into a dining room, then continue to Brecon Grille and investigate the town's relationship with Brecon, Wales. A cultural expedition that happens to contain lunch.
The December Cocoa Marathon
On December 5, collect downtown Cocoa Crawl passport stamps, visit Benny's Bakery while it is open, and stay for the evening Holiday Parade. Walking shoes recommended; competitive cocoa consumption discouraged.

Start with coffee and breakfast at Carrigan Cafe, then browse downtown Michigan Avenue. Have lunch at Brecon Grille, take a winter walk through Tefft Park, and finish with dinner at Salt Springs Brewery.
Saturday: Explore downtown Saline, visit Benny's Bakery, and enjoy dinner at Mac's Acadian Seafood Shack. Sunday: Head to Rolling Hills County Park for winter recreation when conditions permit, then return for a relaxed downtown meal.
